A note on one word: forgive
The Greek verb here is apolyo, to set free, to let go. It is not the aphiemi of the Lord's Prayer. Release is the plainer sense of apolyo, and it is kept as Root's reading in the glossary. Forgive stands here so that this saying does not disagree with the other mornings in these forty days where the same act is named.
